Dreams DO come true!

Well, today was not a good day. I got to work and felt worse and worse. My head felt as wide as a football field and heavier than a 18 wheeler. I was miserable. And it didn't take long for me to make my coworkers feel miserable too! I kept coughing and hacking. One of my coworkers said, "Poor Tish...do you need me to get you some water?" I said, "I am sorry I am being so disturbing. I am gonna go to the bathroom to get myself under control." She said, "No, it's okay. You just sound so miserable". On the way to the bathroom (still hacking), I passed someone I know from another department. He said, "Oh gosh! You do NOT sound good!" I didn't sound good or feel good. When I talked to Ray, he suggested I go home. I told him I can't because I've been missing a good bit for my mouth pain, etc. About ten minutes later, I knew I had no choice but to go home! I called an allergist I had seen before and got an appt. Rather than asking, I basically told my boss I was leaving for the day.

Come to find out, I DO have a sinus infection (like my dream)! I was given LOTS of pills to take and a nasal spray. They asked me to do the skin allergy test, but I would hear nothing of it. I've been through that before, and it is hell! They said they would run allergy tests on my blood instead. Now that, I can handle. So, FIVE tubes of blood later, I was done. :(

Oh, I forgot to tell you the most interesting part! Remember all that mouth/jaw pain I've been having? Fact is that I do have an overbite, and I do grind my teeth at night. And when I am stressed I do it more. However, the allergist was telling me that sinus infections often start off feeling like a tooth ache! Isn't that crazy?! So, I do have a sinus infection. And I do grind my teeth. The sinus infection and my teeth grinding have teamed up to make my life a living hell the last week or two. :(

From an allergy test taken about four years ago, I found out I am allergic to tree pollen, dust mites, grass pollen, and ragweed. But this time, they are going to retest those things plus more. With the medications I have and the results of that test, I'll be feelin good again. The last time I tested, they found out I am NOT allergic to cats or dogs. And it is a dam good thing cause if I was, I'd just suffer. My allergies might be flaring up, but my heart will be happy! :)
