My funny husband!

When I first met Ray, I was SO very impressed when I went to his apartment and saw an ironing board out in the living room! At that moment, I knew I had found a one-of-a-kind guy! My second thought was: "His mom trained him well!" :)

To this day, Ray is awesome about doing anything in the house. He will help me and if I do not feel well or something, he does it all. He will wash, fold, do dishes, vacuum, sweep, mop - whatever. We are good about offering to iron each other's clothes in the morning. But for the most part, I iron my clothes, and he irons his. I pulled out the iron and ironing board first this morning. When I finished ironing, I asked Ray if he wanted me to leave the iron out for him to use. 9 times out of 10, he will say yes. As a matter of fact, he will tell me yes even when he is unsure if he will need it. He would rather put it up later if he doesn't need it, rather than have to pull it out again. So when I asked Ray if he needed it and he gave me a real quick "NO", I found that bizarre. I said, "Why did you give such a quick no?" Then I realized why. Ray REFUSES to iron clothes on Friday! Isn't that hilarious?! :) I guess until Ray has to attend a meeting with the President of the U.S. or something, he will not iron his clothes! And he might not even then! :)
