I've been fighting my stupid sinus infection. I have kleenex in my purse, my pockets, my work bag, at work, and in every room of our house. I am not feeling great, but I think I am slowly getting better. I think I feel bad and look bad because of my sinus infection. Then, I think of my poor mother-in-law who is ALWAYS suffering from a sinus/allergy flare up. Would anyone out there reading this who knows my LaiLai, please help me convince her to see a doctor and tell her how much more enjoyable life would be without constant sinus/allergy issues?! Ray and I sure hate to see her suffer.
While at work today, one of our "big bosses" comes in our area to tell us we will have a new employee starting on Friday....and that they will be taking up residence in our extra cubicle. Well, this extra cubicle has become a junk cubicle. There are boxes, old signage for our stores, etc stacked almost as high as the cubicle walls. It is so packed in there that you can't even walk in! Since this new person is starting Friday, the cubicle has to be cleaned out by then! : None of that crap in there is MINE. However, a lot of it belongs to the department I work for. So, it is very likely that I will be spending most of my day cleaning out that stupid work area tomorrow! I don't mind the work really. I'm not one who think I am "too good" for the work. BUT I HAVE A BAD SINUS INFECTION! And after seeing/feeling my symptoms get so bad after cleaning our house, I have NO desire to help tomorrow! :
So, how is everyone? Good, I hope. Today is Hump Day! And tomorrow is Thursday, my favorite day of the week! I am really ready for this week to end. I am looking forward to a weekend of "R & R" (rest and relaxation)! And having some fun is a must too! :)
Not blogging has been weird. I missed it. I am glad to be back!

So why is Thursday your favorite day of the week?

I guess it is kinda strange that I love Thursdays, but I really do! It has always been my favorite day of the week! I wake up knowing this is the last day I have to be tense or stressed...because on Fridays, everyone is more lax. And on Thursday nights, I always extend my bedtime because I am excited about the next day being Friday, the final work day before the weekend starts! To me, the weekend is Friday - Sunday. Those days are always wonderful for me. But daydreaming about them, planning for them, and being excited about them is such a rush for me! Sound weird? YES! True? YES! And I guess if I want to be really cheesy, I can also say that Thursday is my favorite day of the week because I was born on Thursday, November 9th, 1978! That may or may not have anything to do with it, I don't know. And now that I think about it, another reason I might not choose Friday as my favorite day of the week is because that is what the rest of the world says...and I definitely do NOT want to be part of the "norm"! ;)
