A very random blog...

Yesterday afternoon, Ray and I napped on the couch for about 2 ½ hours. But needless to say, it didn’t recharge us as much as we hoped. We walked around like zombies the rest of the evening.

And unfortunately, I didn’t sleep good last night (I don’t think Ray did either). I know I had some very strange dreams, as I have for the last few nights. My dreams haven’t been unpleasant – just weird. For some reason, I’ve been dreaming about our friend, LeAnna, the last few nights. I don’t remember what I dreamed about last night. But a few nights ago, Ray and I met up with LeAnna and her husband, Matt, to hang out at Sam’s Club!!!!! :)


Because we got rid of our old bedroom set at our garage sale, we need to buy a box spring for the frame we plan to use (our old bedroom furniture set didn’t require a frame). So, last night, we slept on our mattress on the floor. It was pretty cool when we first lay down. It brought me good memories because I slept with my mattress on the floor for a while when I was a kid. As I thought it would be, getting up to go to the bathroom 4-5 times a night from the floor rather than a bed of “normal” height – on a frame, was a little challenging. I woke up feeling like I hadn’t slept much at all. My body was sore and I felt kinda disoriented. Now I know that can’t all be blamed on the mattress! As a matter of fact, I’m sure 85% of how I feel is a result of us working SO hard on our garage sale!

When I woke up (the final time) this morning, Ray and I laid there and talked as we often do. I was telling him that I would like to get a box spring soon. I was so out of it that I thought his response to me was, “Good luck to Magic Johnson” :)

Kinda annoyed because I thought he was avoiding the topic, I said, “What?!” He said, “I SAID – We’ll look at Mattress Giant”!!!! :)
