LSU! :)

Good FRIDAY morning! WOOOOO-HOOOOO!
How the heck are ya?!

I’m super happy today because it is Friday, because the sun is out and shining bright, because LSU plays tomorrow, etc. etc! Ray and I went to work today looking like cutie patooties! I wore a yellow shirt, a gold clip in my hair, LSU earrings, and an LSU rubber bracelet! Ray wore an LSU polo and LSU Mardi Gras beads! I think we both felt energized as we got ready this morning! I know that him going to work like that will surely stir up some interesting conversations with Ray. You know how opposition talks! And with me, well, it was very fun to go into work with LSU earrings on when people come to work with $1,000 earrings on! I am having fun and do not feel a bit insecure about how I am dressed! I enjoy seeing everyone’s reaction though! It is funny! The ironic thing is that when they give me a longer look and I smile back, they will say “Hi” or “Good morning” when this person has passed me in the hall 1,000 times without saying a word! Are they speaking to me because they feel uncomfortable or because they realize that this girl is FUN?! Probably both! :)

I don’t know if we’ll watch the big game tomorrow! Ray and I have not watched LSU to speak of because like the old saying goes, “If we watch them, they’ll lose”. So, what we do is record the game on our DVR and watch it later. That has been working out well – obviously! So, I say GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!! If you wore purple, yellow/gold, or both – OR better yet, LSU gear today, good for you! If you couldn’t wear it today, wear it tonight when you go out for supper! You will get some looks, some smiles, some comments, and even some fun conversation going! And you MUST wear it tomorrow!

The other night, I was on my cell phone as I was leaving Wal-Mart. I noticed that the old guy at the door (the doorchecker) was looking at me. As I got closer he said something like, “Are they gonna win?!” It took me a minute to realize what he was talking about. I looked down and saw that I had an LSU shirt on! I said, “I sure hope so! What do you think?!” He said, “I hope so too! I’ve been pulling for them from the beginning!” I smiled and said, “Yeah, they deserve it! They’ve worked hard!” He said, “Geaux Tigers!” I said, “Yep! Geaux Tigers!” Mind you, I have seen that same old man 20+ times leaving that Wal-Mart. He was always friendly before by saying the usual “Have a good night” or something like that, but this time, we talked! It was fun! It made me feel good!

2 bits, 4 bits, 6 bits a dollar….ALL FOR THE TIGERS STAND UP AND HOLLER!!!!!!

You should take a picture! I will be wearing my LSU shirt tomorrow and watching the game. It is also going to be hard not to call you and let you know what is happening! I know, I will refrain and not spoil it for y'all, the fun of watching it later!
