Rain, rain, go away...

It has been raining dogs and cats here for about a week now. I wish it'd freaking stop. You know it is bad when Dallas is closing roads and highways because of flooding. As some of you might already know, our backyard has no grass therefore we have to walk the dogs in the front yard (so they won't track mud around the house) everytime it rains. That is a pain. Maybe we can get some rain boots for the little feet to alliviate this problem.

Went back to LSU last Friday to recruit for my firm. Met with about 7-8 candidates. Only a handful were impressive/prepared which was disappointing. Also, LSU Career Center must do a better job promoting this event (Design Recruitment Day) for any employer to want to come back. Never thought I would say this though... I felt old when I was there! I looked around and it was nothing but a bunch of worry-free youngsters that have no clue what lies in front of them in the road of life... Bill (another LSU alumni at my firm) DID get to enjoy some yummy crawfish at this bar & grill (where Jackie's Seafood used to be on Brightside Drive) though! Overall, a good trip.
