FUN with friends!

I have to talk about the strange but fun dream I had last night! Ray, LeAnna, and I were working in a factory. For those of you already laughing, we worked upstairs in the office part! BUT, lucky us got asked to work down in the factory for a while because they were short staffed. None of us really complained though. We worried a little about how much help we’d be, considering that none of us had ever worked in a factory. Otherwise, we were excited and welcomed the challenge! After all, we are all very smart individuals. And how Matt, LeAnna’s husband, escaped this crap, I do not know! It didn’t take us long to realize that our jobs in the factory required real work! By the way, I do not know what our jobs were exactly. Before going to bed last night, I watched a TV show where they toured the Mattel factory. So, I guess we could’ve been Barbie making, but knowing me, it was probably something much more bizarre. We worked our tails off the first day and were really looking forward to our lunch break. Ray and I took out our sack lunch and sat on the picnic tables down in the warehouse part of the factory. LeAnna was to join us in a few. From a distance, I see Billy walking towards us. I yell out, “Hey you! Doesn’t this place SUCK?!” He walks close to me, says, “YES! It DOES suck!”, turns around to put his rear in my face and says, “Squeeze my butt!” Billy and I are close so him telling me to do that didn’t freak me out. (Yeah, we are THAT close!) But I did feel a bit weird doing it with Ray looking on and us being at my work place! I laughed and then smacked him on the butt. It was not just his butt in there! It felt bouncy or something! He said, “NO! SQUEEZE my butt!” I squeezed his butt. I knew then that it definitely was not his butt! About this time, I saw LeAnna come towards our table but she said she’d be back and turned around! I guess we freaked her out! I said, “Billy, that is not your butt! Your butt looks and feels big! Why?!” I lifted up his shirt and pulled out several rectangular foam pads from each side! I said, “Why are you trying to make your butt look big?! Your butt looks fine the way it is!” He said, “Because I am trying out to be a cheerleader!!!!!!!!!”

By the way, this little story was just a DREAM! The details were out of my control! I do not know why LeAnna was my lucky friend that got to work in the factory with Ray and I. Maybe she was my only friend that would be game about working in the factory. She was there to not only there to tell me it would be okay. She also convinced me it would be fun, that we could show all our coworkers upstairs that were too good for the assignment that we are not only good sports but can do anything we set out to do! LeAnna has always been a good, solid, genuine friend. She was when we were in high school 10+ years ago…and she still is today. I do not know for sure why Billy was trying out to be a cheerleader! But I do have a guess….I think I dreamed something like that about Billy because in “real life”, Billy is always surprising me with new things he is trying in life! If you don’t know him and you heard a conversation between us, you might think Billy just tells me things to get a rise out of me! Because when he does tell me something, I am quite honest. I LOVE our friendship! But in his defense, we are very similar in that way. Both of us always have something new/different going on in our lives. We tell the other, expecting to get great support and love. We get that, in addition to some good advice and very honest opinions! Billy and I are two of a kind and best friends forever!

As far as Ray and I paired together, that does not surprise me – and it shouldn’t surprise anyone that knows us very well. Ray and I get along very good and work well together. We have not ever tried it, but I know Ray and I could wow the world with a business we create and run together! It WILL happen one day – just wait and see! Anyway, back to my dream. The higher power always gives us assignments. It is so very rare that either one of us gets an assignment that doesn’t involve the other. Individually, Ray and I are good people. Together, we are a deadly combination! We kick ass and take names! :)
