Back again...hopefully for good.

Hello! Well, I think I am ready to end the silence. I’m not usually one to be so quiet and to myself, but I have been through a whirlwind with my jaw pain, sinus infection, acid reflux, and stomach bug. I’m really hoping it all stops. Of course, I want to feel better. That is most important. Second, I am tired of paying for doctor visits, lab tests, and prescriptions. As of now, I feel pretty good. I don’t think I am myself 100%, but I would say I am a good 85%.

Let’s see…what has been going on? As those of you who keep up with our blog know, Ray has been kicking butt on his Architect Licensing Exams! I’m so proud of him for working so hard and doing so well! In addition to studying for and passing all these exams, he has been working hard on a competition. He does it with a group from work, but participation is not required by his firm. He has been leading the competition team with vengeance! With any project that involves working with a group, Ray has maybe one person who is of great help to him. The others need to be pulled along. From what I gather, it sounds like many of them are lazy. You know the types. They want to be part of the team, but they refuse to contribute anything. Many of those people like to complain about things need to be different. However, they don’t have any idea how it should be done. Even worse, they don’t have one good reason why their idea is better than what others contributed. I guess they are not confident about their idea or do not know who to sell it. And I guess I have made this competition Ray is involved in sound miserable, but that is not the case at all. I think I get more frustrated hearing about some people in his group more than he does dealing with them every day! Ray loves working on this competition! I have seen the progress of the project from the beginning. It is looking GREAT!

As far as the Entertainment World, I have two things to talk about. First of all, has anyone been watching Miracle Workers on Monday nights? It is an awesome show! I love it! You should check it out! The second thing I wanted to mention is this great movie that everyone should rent. It is called The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio. Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson star in it. This movie is a drama, but it is romantic, funny, and inspirational too. If you want something to watch when you’re curled up on the couch one evening or one weekend, get this one!
