The procrastination has ended! We (a few people at my firm and I) finally got our heads together and finished the darn competition that is due on Monday. Click on the pic above to enlarge image of our competition boards (the pic is composed of two horizontal boards butted up vertically). We were asked to design a rest area that is safe, educational, and substainable. The site location is Tipton, California, off of the U.S. Highway - Route 99. The winning entry will be used as a rest area prototype all over California. And the winning contestant(s) wins $10,000! We feel good about our chances. We should find out about the results is in 2 weeks, so we will be keeping our fingers crossed.
