Easter as it was...

I searched for old Easter pictures and found some! I'll put a few in today's blog and a will put the rest in an upcoming blog. Well, the first one is of my first Easter! Since I was born in November of ’78 and this picture was taken in April of ’79, I was about 6 months old. I told you the Easter Bunny has always been good to me!

The next picture is of my second Easter! The funniest thing about this picture is my dark hair. For those of you who don’t know, I was born with dark hair. My father always said it was “coal black”. As a matter of fact, he always liked to joke (ever since I was very young) that he wondered if my real father was an Asian! Well, let me tell you EXACTLY what he used to tell me! “When you were born, you’re hair was coal black! I wondered if your mom got with an Asian!” Again, he told me this for as long as I can remember. He wasn’t smart enough not to use the phrase “got with” with a little girl. Oh and to make his story even better, he also talked about me being so fat when I was born that my eyes were slanted!

I love those! Precious pictures and a beautiful little girl, dark haired or not. The picture made your hair look darker than it really was, especially the second picture! It was not that dark at that age.
