Tish and I are not the type to spend money on a whim. We are the type to conteplate and conteplate, until we go forward with any kind of spending. I guess it makes us feel better simply because we can say we thought about it enough.
Last week Tish and I decided to get a new camera. The camera we had was a good one, and we have not had it for all that long. But we felt that with Baby Tse on the way, a BETTER camera is in order. We have never been too impressed with the "point and shoot" digital cameras. They did the job, but the images never turned out as crisp as the old school film cameras. We heard good things about the Digital SLR's and wanted to find out more about them. We went to a camera shop and found us a good deal on a Nikon D50. It was actually cheaper than the last Canon (point and shoot) camera we bought! See photo below of our new toy:
And of course, I had to test it out on something, what's better than these objects (click pics to enlarge):
Look at that "pregnant glow" and the "killer looks"!

Hey buddy, you served us well, but it is time to move on!.
Not too bad huh? We sold the camera above on Craig's List to a couple here in Dallas. They wanted to upgrade their camera to a better one since they have a second child on the way. We are smarter than they are! We feel that the SLR is a VERY good investment. We have never regret on spending a pretty penny on a camera. How can one put a price tag on capturing time?
"Say cheese!"

The new camera did a very good job. I watched the pictures with Alton and Alton agreed that this camera is good.
