One of the coolest things about where we live is...we have a store called Container Store. It is a Fortune 500 company started right here in Dallas. They have also been voted many times as one of the top 50 companies to work for in recent years. You can pretty much find anything you need to organize at this store. They also have a great selection of Christmas wrapping paper, boxes, etc. Another thing they are famous for is their Elfa closet system.

Elfa is a custom design closet system. You go into the store, ask for help, and they build one for you from their special software. Tish and I have always wanted to purchase a system but thought of it as somewhat of a luxury. Well, since we converted our old office/formal dining room into our bedroom, closet space becomes scarce. The closet in the room did not have hanging rods or anything. Instead of buying some crappy shelves and rods at Lowe's or Home Depot, we decided to save up the money for an Elfa! We took advantage of The Container Store's annual after Christmas sale (30% off all Elfa pieces), and got one built for us yesterday. After fooling with track/supports most of the morning, I finally got it installed. Here are some pics:
The famous Elfa. The middle bottom is a wire-mesh drawers system, very easy to use, much better than a dresser.

Upclose shot of the drawers. Very deep and useful. We also have the flexibility to slide in different size drawers (notice the extra drawer slots) if we want.

My supervisor Yoshi approved. He watched me the whole time.
No more junked up closet! We are very excited about it and recommend to all!

We love Elfa, too! Greg has always had Elfa shelves for his office, as well as the basket system like you have. We even used Elfa in the kitchen of the house we had when we lived in Fort Worth... to organize the pantry. Great stuff! Your closet looks wonderful!
