Today was quite a day for Mom, Ray, and I. Of course, Ray had a long day of work with his usual load, plus two lengthy meetings. I worked to get things unpacked and organized in the nursery. And my mom worked hard on baby shower prepping. So, there wasn’t much said over supper tonight. After compliments were paid to the chef, we all seemed to work our jaws and stare off into space. Thinking, talking, and eating all at once was just too much for us to handle tonight. I must say that I was the only one who didn’t have to complete my meal to snap out of it – thanks to our little one! He kicked and/or punched me so hard several times that I thought the mouthful of food I was trying to swallow might come back up! Fortunately, it wasn’t painful. I actually found it pretty funny! As a matter of fact, his thrusting about made me smile and nearly giggle several times. It was a moment set aside just for Baby T and I, I suppose, because Ray and my mom were too zoned out to notice.
After my supper settled, I decided I wanted to take a nice, warm bath. Usually, our boy is very still during baths and showers. I always picture him just chilling out enjoying himself because I am enjoying myself. He usually gets playful afterwards, but it was different this time! After soaping up, I laid back to soak for a few minutes. Immediately, our little acrobat started flipping about! Instead of laying back and resting, I laid back wide-eyed! I couldn’t help but smile throughout his entire performance! :)
