Today, while taking a bath, I thought back to last year when I had foot surgery. I remembered how difficult it was to do simple, routine things like take a bath, get dressed, and get comfortable in bed at night. Yeah, you know where this is going…
Being pregnant has also brought about some changes…or shall I say challenges?! ;) Because of my growing tummy, so many simple things that I used to do without thinking now takes planning or at the very least, trial and error! :) Of course, getting situated in bed at night is not easy. I’ve been saying that for a while now. But what surprises me is how difficult things like stepping into my pants and putting on my shoes have become. When I bend over, my belly now sits on the top of my thigh! And I don’t mean they barely touch! I mean, Baby T is being pressed into my leg! I think I’ve done a good job managing so far, but I can’t help but wonder if Ray will be dressing me in a few months!
I feel really good about the pregnant me! While getting larger at a progressive rate can be inconvenient at times, it is fun too! Ray, Mom, and LaiLai have made sure that I have cute maternity clothes. Thanks to them, I feel good every time I leave the house. I feel very “full” as I often tell Ray, but I feel cute too! :)
I don’t look back at pre-pregnancy pictures of myself and feel sad because I think I’m now fat. I don’t feel "fat" at all. The best way I know to describe how I feel is by saying I feel full, like “I ate the entire Thanksgiving Feast by myself and don't know if I can get up from the table” kind of feeling! :) But for the fun of it, I found a picture of me just one month before we got pregnant so I can show just how much our boy is growing!
This was taken in April:
And this is me (and Baby T) now:
By the way, I cut my head off so you can get a better view of my growth spurt over the last 6 months…and because I was flaring my nostrils when this picture was taken for some unknown reason! :)

Oh, the changes!

Hey. I remembered that you had a blog and decided to check it out. It was so much fun to read everything. I loved the pic of your growing belly. It's a pretty good size for being your first and considering how tall you are. I'm so excited for both of you. -Brandy
