Story:
On the past Sunday morning, we opened up some windows to air out of the house. Since we do not have any screening on our windows, we always put Yoshi up in a different room when we do this. Well, as the day went on, we kinda forgot about the windows being open. Tish and I were in the bedroom with the dogs, and suddenly realized Yoshi was nowhere to be found! Both her and I stormed out hunting for the frisky cat. We found him. He was at his favorite window sill where the window was open.... He was about to jump out! He had the look of "if you come any closer, I am gone!". Luckily he didn't and I snatched him away while Tish closed all the windows. I almost had a heart attack. So glad that we realized what was going on early enough, or we would have one less personality around this house! We would have spend rest of the weekend looking for him. I would have been so sad.
So for all the heartache that Yoshi saved us (because he didn't jump)...
Yoshi Day
As the acting Mayor of the Tse household, I declare April 30, Yoshi Day.

And no, Ray is not kidding! We wrote "Yoshi Day" on our calendar! :)

Okay... I added Yoshi Day to my calendar, too. Maybe I'll become more thoughtful (like I've been planning to do!) and send him a Happy Yoshi Day card next year. Does Hallmark carry Yoshi Day cards? They should... they should start trying to expand a bit and do more to meet customer's needs... you know, like "the car that might"? Oh...sorry Ray!
