Looking up...

I know of many great things that are happening to our friends and family right now. I.E., our friends, LeAnna and Matt, became parents of a healthy baby boy last Thursday, April 27th. He was 7lbs 13oz and 20.5 inches long. His name is Patrick McKenzie! A BIG HUGE CONGRATS GOES TO LEANNA, MATT, and their canine child, MOSELY! :)

Lots of great things are happening to us too - so many that we need a scroll to list! :) But my stupid acid reflux has been acting up and making me miserable. Today, it is really kicking my butt! Also, the weather here in Dallas is crappy. It is dark and just murky. Even though SO many great things are happening, my cough and this weather are trying to bring me down. When that happens, I sometimes start thinking about all the adversity I've been dealt throughout my 27 years on this Earth. When I feel down in the dumps, I find a way to get through it. I don't get bummed sometimes because I am weak. I am just human. The key is just to find ways to overcome adversity...something I've become pretty damn good at, by the way! :) Here are a few quotes that you might not can use today but will likely be something helpful to refer to in the future.
