Last night, Ray and I were talking about how good Daisy has been since we started letting her stay in our bedroom all day rather than be put away in a kennel. Daisy just enjoys stretching out on the bed. She especially enjoys the rays of sunshine that beam in. As we’ve mentioned before, Mya LOVES her sister, Daisy. Very often, we will look over and see her looking up with Daiz such admiration and love. It is very sweet. I know that Daisy is flattered, but at times, she is quite annoyed with Mya always sitting next to her, laying on her, etc (just as many big sisters are)! So, we do allow Mya time to hang out with Daisy – when we can watch them. I am careful to not let Daisy begin to get so annoyed with Mya that she hates her. That would not be good because in this house, EVERYONE LOVES EVERYONE!
When we were about to go to bed last night, I mentioned to Ray that maybe we could consider leaving Mya out to hang out with Daisy one day while we are at work. He said, “No, that isn’t a good idea”. I said, “Yeah, Daisy might get really pissed off at her, huh?” He said, “Yeah, that, AND because Mya is destructive!” For some reason, I had a brain fart or something because I know all to well how destructive she is. Since she loves her kennel so much and stays in there, we sometimes forget that her kennel door is not shut. And she doesn’t let us know! She hangs out in there being very quiet! But I am almost positive that she doesn’t wait but about 10 seconds after she hears our cars start to get out and start tearing things up! She has torn many things up over the last 4 years or so, but the most damage she ever did was tear up two photos I had on our bookshelf of my dad and I. I had them out because they were my two favorites. One of them was the very first photo of my dad and I EVER taken! I think I was a few days old! When I discovered what she did, I screamed (and knowing me, probably threw around some curse words) and wailed. I don’t mean shed a few tears. I mean wailed. I even fell to my knees wailing! I was so upset. I was so upset that I couldn’t even yell at Mya. All I could do was ask her over and over why she did it. It was a scene from a movie – I tell ya.

Our little angel/devil, Mya.
But back to my story! Ray told me it would not be good to ever leave Mya out with Daisy – even if we think we have everything picked up! Ray said, “She will find something to destroy! She will dig a hole to China or something!” I laughed and said, “Yeah, you are right!” He said, “She is like the train that went!” For those of you who did not read my blog entry a week or so ago about Ray not remembering that the saying is “the little engine that could”, please read it! I know Anne will remember it!
My husband has always been, is, and will always be Chinese.
Also, he always has been, is, and will always be so cute!!!! ;)

Hilarious! :)I have seen that sneaky, 'lil angel in action! She is too cute but can be very mischievous! I think Daiz & Hobbes watch in disbelief!
