As I mentioned in the previous blog, we went to the Christmas tree farm while my dad and grandma were here. One thing we really wanted to do was to decorate the tree with them. I have never decorated for Christmas before so this was special. Grandma was a spectator at first, but she decided to join in when I showed her a few cute ornaments we had. Again, she was quite intrigued. :-) See her concentration in the photo above?
Another "task" we asked my dad to do while he was here was putting the crib together. It is not necessary a 2-man job, but I figure it would be a good bonding experience and it beats going to a movie or shopping just to kill time. It is a simple crib with bascially 5 key components. I assumed that we would finish the dang thing fairly quickly....WRONG! We had things upside down and inside out a few times! When we finally have it together, we wanted to go ahead and dress the bed as well. Even with Tish's help, we manage to screw that up too! Our supervisor (Grandma) had to point out where we went wrong! When we finally got it done, it looked great! It is all ready for Baby Tse's arrival! See pics below:
