Welcome to this world Gray!

The day had finally come. Our son and first child finally joined us on this earth. Grayson was born last Friday (Feb 9) at 7:56am through C-section. There were no complications during the surgery, both mom and son are doing well. There have been so many blog-worthy things happened already since that day, I don't know if we will ever have enough time to post it all. One thing we DID decide to do was to start up a separate blog just for blogs related to our new little addition. The dedicated site is called "HearTse" http://heartse.blogspot.com/ and it is already up and running. "TseWhat" will still remain but for more personal thoughts that are not related to our new family.

It was such a whirlwind this past weekend, I am going to give a summary of the events that took place with the help of these images...

Not a happy "mom-to-be", approx. an hour before the surgery. Why? She is talking to the epidural nurse (bottom right corner)! Tish has always been pretty nervous about the epidural (anesthetics) process. Because she hates any kind of skin penetrations and the dangerous (paralization) nature of this procedure.

This is a snapshot of our baby boy a few minutes after gracing us with his presence. Notice the nurse on the right trying to brace herself with her right hand... Grayson was releasing a steady "golden arch" onto her while being cleaned up! I guess there are no restrooms available in the womb. :-)

Love at first sight. First time the mom and son met. Tish could not hold him because she was still being operated on.

Grayson chilling out in his hospital bassinet (where do get one cool like that?)... what a sweet angel he is.

Proud parents treasuring every moment.

We had an amazing weekend. It was so wonderful to finally meet the little guy we have been so eagerly waiting for. My worries/stress were lifted as I was informed how healthy he is. By the way, he was born 10 pounds 1 oz. and 21.25" long! He is just perfect. Welcome to this world and our family, Gray.
