This year has been a rough and memorable one for us. Tish and I are both extremely ready to get 2005 out the door. Christmas for us was a good one. This year we decided to spend it by ourselves in Dallas for the 1st time. Though we love visiting with our family, this year was actually kind of nice not doing so. We also put a $ limited on gifts for each other which worked out REALLY well. We were forced to be creative and thoughtful, which is what giving is all about anyway... For New Years Eve, we planned a "Micro" getaway in town. It should be fun.

Greg and I did the same thing this year... We just stayed home and enjoyed our first Christmas with Rachel. No family gatherings to prepare for... no stress... hanging out in our PJs...it was great! Glad you both had a nice relaxing day.
